I think the biggest problems with nerds is a griefer enters the zone, runs around for about 10 mins disturbing XP flow, and instead of you just having fun you act lik ITS THE END OF THE GOD DAMNED WORLD
and you log off hella mad.. meanwhile so does the griefer cus nobody plays on thier low level alts for mor than 20 minuets, and your group goes back to XPing and outlevels you

I have a feeling these unertwink characters are shared account that many people are playing. And no, you cannot simply "goto a different zone" as their level 60 druid buddy will port them around. Let's be honest here, and its been like this since VZTZ: If you're part of "the crew" you'll get BIS twink geared and PLed to 60 as soon as u join Red. Hell 90% of the people promoting Red came from Blue and traded for hundreds of thousands of Red plat. You've NEVER PLAYED RED UNTWINKED yet that's what you're encouraging others to do. EverQuest PVP is roughly 10% skill, 20% game knowledge and 70% GEAR BASED. ESPECIALLY in Velious. Have fun PVPING Warriors and Monks with 4k and 180+ all resists unbuffed, lol. What a joke.

How about some names of these twinks? We can check the leaderboard to see if they're truly "porting around". Last person to do that I can think of was Ironlion on Abualfreporti going back a long time now. Getting ready for more "herp derp red server is a joke" tho. Perhaps this game is more for you? kekek

As for twinks clearing whole zones and keeping them that way? I've not seen it, nor have I heard of it in game. Maybe before my time, but not that way now. Sure there are peeps who can make quite a disturbance, but it's generally short lived and you can return to what you are doing. OR you can pull up stakes and move camp to a less congested zone of which there are plenty ^^ And what's the deal with being "forced to call LNS"? You are not forced to do anything. It's an option to let you get your stuff if you are overwhelmed ^^ If anything, they are forced to let you be once you call LNS. No shame in admitting defeat against an insurmountable foe. The only peeps who I've seen get killed multiple times though are the ones who take their crusade to OOC. It's a pvp server ^^ Expect pvp, fair or not. 9 times out of 10, if you are a good sport, peeps leave you alone or even lend a hand. I've had pk'ers give me buffs, help me xp, join my group, give me rez, help with corpse retrieval and so on. Have a good laugh about it and move on. It's a different mindset, but one that isn't that difficult to understand if you just take a moment. As for gear influence on pvp, yeah it's there, but so are latency advantages based on your location. You also significantly underestimate the value of skill. There are a lot of peeps who rely on their gear far too much and can be taken with a bit of effort by an under eared player with a bit of planning^^

This is just hogwash. Never played a twinked day in my life. Sure, if you stay just on the Unrest-MM circuit you are going to get more grief than you would otherwise. There are plenty of other places. But even in those zones, I've played dozens of hours without a single backstab. Majority of what you are saying is misinformed, the rest is whambulance.

Good post.
If I can kill people from over in Europe I'm sure a lot of others won't have any trouble... the only thing my latency ever made difficult was bard kiting. Also as mentioned I've been corpse camped once in my whole time on red and it was pre-LNS rule, some troll shaman decided he'd sit in the middle of the East Karana ramp for about 30 minutes. Very rare to see it happen to leveling characters. Step into a raid situation though and a guild can slaughter another guild and make them LNS.... so even when you're dead you still have unconditional access to your corpse if you're LNS'ing. I strongly believe that anyone who's bored of the same old same old on blue and wants to try something a little different should give it a go and see what happens [You must be logged in to view images. Put global ooc on blue for an hour and watch the walls of "civilized society" come crumbling down in minutes. Can you imagine the raid related chat and salty tears on that if it happened? lol
That's the real down side of blue, so many rules, processes and people trying to lawyer them in their own direction....I'm surprised people put up with it.
