Eh I don't mind FTE too much for *most* targets. But some things it's shitty on.
Statue for example, Rampage did a good job FTEing it and holding a kite of their train. That mob is fine to FTE. Since not much clearing is required. Something like Tunare that you have to clear an entire zone to engage or Cazic Thule 2.0 when he is added... Those are really shitty to FTE. It just becomes a game of who will devote too many resources to clearing trash only to get leapfrogged on the final mob. I mentioned this during beta regarding ToV and people ignored it though. Certain things really should not be allowed to occur like leapfrogging a guild after they've cleared half the zones trash. But... That's a topic for another thread sorry to derail.

Keep in mind she is perma rooted here. I vaguely remember that not being the case early on. She was positionable.

I don't think anyone's faulting you Dald/Taken (at least I'm not). I'm still actively pursuing Trakanon kills for the exact same reason (and yes, UDB is instituted at the same time as the Hate/Fear revamps).
Should start considering UDB rotation similar to Ragefire until that MASSIVE backlog of Bard epics gets sorted out...

Keep in mind, a Trakanon rotation was proposed and it was shot down by your glorious leader because he wanted all Trakanons. I hope people are more rational about UDB. Though... I'd guess the reserves of White/Red scales would hinder too terribly huge of a bottleneck on that piece. PS - I love derailing threads.

Wasn't talking Trakanon, was talking UDB. No point in hoarding UDB's for a single Trak BP, spawned Trak doesn't drop VP teeth.

I'm aware but a rotation that would've included shot at Trak guts was shot down for the opportunity to hoard teeth.
I don't see anyone hoarding UDBs for the rare Manna Robe drop... But who knows? I do see guilds trying to get back to back UDBs for Bard epics though. But as I said, you still need raid dropped scales to complete the epic, so there's not going to be 10 bards from each guild trying for UDB. I'm also not familiar with the UDB spawn mechanic. It should slim out the list of bards ready pretty quickly. Is it 24 hours after death so 1 UDB per Trakanon or is it a 24 Hr spawn while Trakanon is not up, I.E. You can get 2-3 UDBs in between Trakanon kills. I'm thinking the former? I love derailing threads on accident.

From everything I've found, its almost exactly like Ragefire:
1) After real Trakanon(Nagafen) dies, a placeholder, non-KOS mob spawns (UDB ~18hr [1][2]). 2) You turn in your lute body to UDB, he returns the body, becomes KOS. 3) Kill UDB, Trak spawns. 4) Kill Trak, congrats guts(heart) and single Trak BP(ragefire armor/COF). 5) UDB spawns again >=12hr later [3][4]. 6) Once Trak spawns, UDB despawns [5]. 7) Return to step 1.
