It was entertaining-ish to start a character (yes A character, fuck boxing) on here, but mostly just because of the random stuff that is different from what I'm used to. Meditate at level 1, level 2 mobs with 50 hp, gate guards that apparently hit for about 50, only making 3 gold in the time it took me to make 3 (I only saw one decaying skeleton with a weapon and I must have killed 20+ of them, none with pack drops, only got like 12 bonechips and a handful of copper), bunches of non-classic features like find and compass and starting off with a backpack and bandages and other little random crap like that. But it would have been just as entertaining, imo, to start a non-twink on p99, since the mechanics would be correct and the bugs few and far between.


As much as Chellsea claims the pop is fine, there are only 100 characters online right now less /role and /anon, I guess, and probably half of those are being boxed... so you're looking at MAYBE 100 actual players.

I know it's only 9 am est, but this is 9 hours after the server launch. This should be the highest pop 9 am the server ever sees. And yet it currently has only about 1/3 the players online that p99 blue has.

Pop earlier today at 6pm cst was 216. Suck it.

or 54, depending how many peoples "girlfriends" are 2 boxing with them.

I've wondered the same. It seems like there are quite a few actually. I see several groups that move around without toons auto-following each other. I definitely see A LOT of little two man tank/healer auto-following groups though.

I've been boxing a shaman/warrior personally. Feels just like live again! LOL!

i just think its humorous that R99 hits 200 peak without boxing, and the players refer to the server as dead, buried, and rotting in the ground.

but this server hits 218 with 4boxing, and it is thriving?

in seriousness i wish them all the luck in the world. from what ive heard, its more or less a stock PEQ database from the eqemu, with a few minor changes to recipies, turnins, loot tables.

the road ahead is long and hard, and filled with self inflicted wounds. but just do a bit of work every day, and she'll get there, good luck!

try the server, there is surprisingly alot of people by themselves.
and even then, if boxing the boxer will log a toon to give you a spot in group.

On live eq there was hardly any people agruing with each other etc it was usually guild leader and guild leader the way it should be

Was just there left in 10 minutes...Lots of unclassic going on was hopeful but fail. Anyone remember exp rate? I hear it was right at first now I don't know whats up cuz half a blue bubble per kill at level 1 is insane 50 kills to get to level 2 also cracked staffs supposed to be 1p sometimes 9g with low cha or whatever 6g there extra skeletons with hardly any weapons and goodluck buying any spells with that kinda stuff just saying it still needs a lot of works and I don't think anyone will change anything. It's just like here gl getting a dev to do ANYTHING YOU WANT to their servers they just plain don't care. Oh well back to games that work.Was an Enchanter but doubtfull I'll even try that one again.
