As where Covid19 alpha and delta first showed up. -Neither BQ 1 or BQ 1.1 are dominate at this time and often a high population areas acts like a reservoir first for the virus to get a footing. -Sadly because these variants are not dominate at this time they aren't even on the radar to test vs the current BA.1 booster (Bivalent) that does lend some protect vs BA4/5. Besides XBB is the strain in the East that is getting the most attention. Primarily Singapore. XBB is more closely related to Omicron and with relatively good confidence the booster will provide good amount of protection against it. Covid infections on the whole have been going down and with so many vaccinated it is nice to see things getting back to normal. And why are you Antivaxxers even harping about Covid...RSV in infants is much more prevalent and news worth at this time. Silly Antivaxxers -----> Science will win! | |||
