because TMO currently kills 90% of raid targets. nothing has convinced me this will change in velious. sky, hate and fear clears get boring after about the 50th one, im sure the same can be said for similar velious raids

i dont not speak for BDA in any capacity and never have, my opinions on the p99 forums have always been my own, and only sometimes coincide with the official stance of my guild(which for the record i have no been active in for sometime)

There is simply much much more opportunity to raid in Velious.

i will be, on one of the many truly new and exciting mmo's slated for release this year. have fun raiding the same content you have been for the last 13 years and reliving the "glory days" of mmo's

long story short? after nearly 2 years of playing on this server i have become quite pessimistic and a bit jaded on the hope of there ever being a fair and level playing field in the p99 raid scene. my above answers to your questions are only one aspect of the problems that plague the raid scene, between the cheating, RMT, under-handed tactics, douchebaggery, and loose interpretations of the supposed "rules" there will never be a place for legit players in this raiding community.

You are jaded its obvious. RMT who gives a shit. The only reason it is not allowed here is due to the possible legal ramifications. It happened on live (its classic). The rules have swung multiple ways but can you really feel jaded about this when it was largely in your favor?

Take a break, get off the forums, clear your head. Come back for Velious, Don't miss it twice. The only reason TMO is here is for Velious. Kunark seriously sucks as a raid expansion. Do not miss Velious is is the pinnacle of MMO fun imo.

Without experience in Velious you cant accurately project the situation. TMO can not poopsock in Velious. Velious is dangerous. Mobs quadding for 1150 that rampage (hit another target) AoE and other nasty things. <Insert Boromir Picture Here.> One does not simply poopsock in Velious. You have to fight your way to alot of encounters raids can take many hours. Baddies have 400k-1mill HP. <Insert Pic 2> One does not simply zerg rush Velious.

Outside of raiding there is tons of lore, tons of good group content, tons of really good quests, good solo stuff, good tradeskills.

Plus I'll be playing TESO, or EQNext when they come out anyways. But nothing commpares to Velious, nothing may ever compare to Velious.

I'm sure it's very hard to figure out TMO has been buying accounts with either RMT or platinum to 60 them, gear them and max every relevant faction in Velious.
