I have the same problem with 10.8.2. It worked fine with shipped OS, but after latest update it stopped working. I am thinking about install it again to see if it were one of the patches that made the problem

The issue has to do with Wineq. You need to upgrade it to 2.5.8 I believe. I'm not at home to check but I think that's correct.

Did a quick search on wineq turned up almost nothing. If we have to update it, how is it done? I think most of us downloaded the wine package and followed the steps. So kinda clueless at this point on how to update it.

I think he meant Wineskin.app (inside Project 1999.app) needs to be updated. I used Wineskin Winery to update it. The engine I updated to: WS9WineCX11.2.0 with the wrapper: Wineskin 2.5.8. After updating these two things and launching Project 1999.app it worked just fine again.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the game to run at normal speed?

Everything works running it in my Mac, but I move way slower. Similar to the multicore proc issue in windows. Is there a way to run the wine instance single core?

Edit: disregard. There is an option in Wineskin -> Advanced -> Options to force single core.

Anyone have an issue with the mouse look? I feel like I turn 90 degrees to the left and it just stops there... have the let go of mouse button and try to force it to turn 180 degrees (if that makes sense...)...
