Would a society of humans who are biologically engineered to operate like AI (no sex drive, collectivist, strong, right brained) be better than growing boys and girls, and tall and short, fat and thin and dumb and smart people?

I guess that would be the plot to Gatica part 2.

I don't remember the science behind 1984.

Brave new world? They had the genetically submissive workers.

Warhammer 40k did it it iirc, if you had birthing pods and could just spit out warriors.

Why spit out any emotional ones if you know what i mean.

I think in 1984 it was more of a social engineering, but the endpoint was the same aim. No individuality and no love for anything except perhaps BB. Only constant labour and war for the elites to grow fat and stomp the boot into the face of humanity for ever.

I'm pretty sure Brave New World had the jars where you let the higher caste people get a lil more oxygen growing up. As it should be.

It's 1984, Brave New World, The Hand Maid's Tale, and Idiocracy all at once. Each author focused on a troubling thing that would cause our dystopian future, but wouldn't you know it they were all right.
