>dnd dieties book

could do worse, i personally recommend the Mystara setting if you need a fantasy ethos to deal and neo-pagans give you the ick.

Tymora is the only deity DnD really says you should follow as an adventurer, because your coin landed on edge and that's why you're an adventurer.

Mystara first appeared in 1974,
while the Forgotten Realms was first published in 1987

Instead of gods, Mystara features Immortals, which are powerful beings that ascended from mortality. While there's a powerful Immortal named Tyche associated with luck (and potentially the precursor to both Tymora and Beshaba in other settings)
Selűne lashed out at Tyche's diseased body and slew her by splitting her down the middle.

I played A dnd from when i was ≈ 14 (1980ish) and i have zero idea who those dieties are. I have missed so many editions its not funny. Ours was dms guide, players handbook and monster manual. Thats it.
A large table with a world map and a bunch of hex paper under glass. Fucken nerds.

Oh, and we had a.copy of warlock unofficial suppliment and a rogues gallery.

That's not the call of the void. Call of the void is when you have access to instant death. Usually a ledge. You just feel like calmly walking off. Or something else like this.
