It's just going back to the States to decide (if this is the actual decision)

As it should be
Ah thanks for the clarification on that. Still though, I don't like this attack on our constitution the last few years. The left was attacking it hardcore and now the right is doing the same. Scary that neither side represents freedom and America anymore.

The thing people are talking about are states with "Trigger Laws" in place. So as soon as roe is overturned, some deep red states plan to enact legislation that will make it criminal for residents to travel to other states to carry out an abortion.

I'm all for as little fed government oversight as possible. Leave most of it to the states.

If you oppose abortion I really don't see how you can have any problem with this. You can't "privately" murder somebody. Abortion violates basically every fundamental human right *of the baby*.

It's really no wonder colorado wanted 9mo abortions. The left accuses the religious right of believing in magic because they think a 1 day old zygote is a human. They then engage in their own religious miracle thinking, that a baby magically becomes a baby as soon as the last bit of goop exits the birth canal or something. It's moronic and logically inconsistent.

Colorado is weird. Denver is the most racist place I’ve ever been and everyone has a BLM flag. I’d guess they’re going to find lead in the water because everyone there is a tattoo’d autist. My son moved there this year and so I’ve spent like 1-2 months in demver and while the hiking in Colorado makes me regret living in Texas all my life pretty much, the people are insufferable in Denver

Pretty sure Denver is turning the whole state blue, that and Boulder. Fort Collins and Springs seemed OK in my experience

Also, abortion isn’t murder. You can keep saying it but you are incorrect

Is that constitutional? To prohibit travel across state lines for something other states consider a medical procedure? I wonder…

This actually isn't an attack on The Constitution. Abortion was never within it to begin with.

The reasoning to apply it to Roe and abortion was very weak. If anything, this decision (again if it actually happens) will strengthen The Constitution and give power back to the states

6 weeks in Texas is insane / extreme.

9 months is insanity too.

Why can't people just agree....get your shit together and decide by the end of the first trimester. Otherwise, you are now legally obligated to keep that child...even if you were drunk and let Billy from algebra class dump a load inside of you.

Roe v wade was closer to that than where we are now. But yes, agree with your position for the most part. I still think viability is a good end date. Agree that 9 months is extreme
