I applaud OP, the only thing dumber than actual recharges are the dip shits that get ripped off while doing recharges. If only OP would have gotten the Locket of Escape for 11k.
However, this has all been played about before. Much like history P99 is also cicular in nature. Search for something like "TMO rages about Larrikans mask"

It seems like there are a scant few of us who don't see any problem with this. Why would do recharging in a heavily trafficked area at all? I can think of a few places (but won't give them away) that make MUCH more sense than a WC vendor. . .
