Didn't say anything aside from prison guards are far below even the lowest paying construction/ mason jobs.

CO respect varies a lot by gender. For instance I've known some tough dykes who worked as COs in max male prisons, and the juxtaposition actually brought some clout & street cred. Ur point stands but I gotta kneejerk for my girls ok.
