There will be an appeal process. Brady does zero to two games. Pats punishment ends up being the fourth rounder in 2017. The NFL is too concerned with its perceived image right now to not let the thing go away (it's also people's eyeballs too).
also, no - the patriots cannot appeal the fine or pick removal. brady can appeal his suspension, the other stuff is unchangeable.

Nah. The NFL doesn't really care right now as long as they are continuing to remain firmly in the spotlight. This just sets the 2015 season up to be that much more interesting from an entertainment perspective. Even if Brady sits the first four games, all anyone is going to be talking about is the Pats and what will happen when Brady returns. The ratings for his first game will be through the roof. And the NFL gets to look like they are cracking down on cheating. For them its a win win.

Week 6, at the Colts for the Sunday night game. Against the team that snitched him out.

Sure seems like the league knew what they were doing when they made the schedule. I mean, seems more probable than not that the league knew what they were doing.

Two days ago, former Bills, Panthers and Colts GM Bill Polian, a former member of the RNF community, said on the P99 forums that the phrase “is the standard of proof that the NFL has used for about seven years or so that means in English: they’re guilty. . . . This is not running through a stop sign, this is not speeding five miles over the limit. This is a serious competitive violation that has to be treated as such by the nerds posting here.”

I don't think snitching is a term a bunch of nerds playing on p99 should be using. Red99 would be renamed Snitch 99 if it were. (And that's not even hyberbole)
