Just wish for once a guild would be fine being in 2nd place, knowing they'll lose members to the top guild but providing a quality place for casual players and people who don't want to raid the top content.

Maybe if that happened the top guild could even stop recruiting everyone with a pulse.

Not gonna happen though.

The reason those guilds always end up going belly up is because when you set your success criteria to something that is going to be damn near impossible to get giving the current circumstances, you're setting yourself up for failure.

Put it this way, if your guild goal is to raid VP in Kunark or kill Tormax, Vulak, AoW, etc in Velious and people are joining under the assumption that is going to happen then you are taking a big risk of a mass exodus if it doesn't happen.

If your goals are to snipe some dragons in Kunark, do planar runs, finish some epics and in Velious to raid the lower tier raid targets like Vindi and EToV/lesser NToV dragons, etc...I just see much more long term potential in that guild.

If a guild like that had existed when Nihilum was disbanded that guild would have immediately become the server uberguild overnight by default.

It's your guild pal and I like what you're doing though. Keep it up.

Wow, picture actually looks like a bunch of people who aren't super fully geared with the exception of like 2-3 people the rest look pretty rag tag. surprisingly grats, was expecting a picture with a bunch of twinked out people with more epics.
