This is what I was thinking too. If we teamed up with, say, Divinity, and they trained the fuck out of everyone else and then conceded, we could just move in and scoop the loot while everyone else was on CR. Then two weeks later, epics start magically appearing on their toons. I'm not saying that's what happened here; I am saying that this 'its ok as long as we concede' only really applies if there are two guilds present.
