In my experience, and for a long time, anytime Nihilum had to fight a good fight with mostly fair numbers, win or lose, they'd have 10-15 more the next fight. It was like clockwork - "30v30? Ok, better bring 40 this time - that was too close." Trying to deny this happened is an exercise in ignorance. It wasn't until these reserves of inactive players, who you probably batphoned a dozen times and guilt-tripped on your forums, decided they'd finally had enough that we ever saw several fights in a row with more or less even numbers.

Nihilum were like cops - they'd prefer to win a stupid battle with overwhelming force than to have a good fight. And Tune farming level 52s was like Officer Fuckface tasing an already-handcuffed 90-pound woman.
So no you're whining people logged into PVP you? Man I really just don't get you guys.

I'm not whining, just trying to set the record straight. Nihilum made a conscious effort to always attempt to PvP with an overwhelming force. Feel free to attempt to muddy up such a fact with your long-winded bullshit, but those of us who were around know the truth.

And yet you do the same thing now? Face it bros, classic eq results in zergs. It happened on almost every server in the history of Everquest. You're just Zerg 2.0 on red now. Nothing will ever stop zergs other than some sort of awful gm enforced pvp limit or mob engage limit.

If Azrael self imposes a cap of 18 on all of their raids (and gets dragons) then I'll respect them for being elite as fuck.

People from Nihilum were calling the resistance bluebies and wishing among each other for competition and PvP? Interesting. The forums have brainwashed me to think the opposite all this time.

We're doing it too? I don't recall not being happy after victory in a fair fight and purposely calling up retired players so we could roll in with 10-15 more people next time.

That's the difference - we like a good fight, win or lose - Nihilum doesn't.

So will you bench the extra 10-15 people you have on average to makes for an equal number fight? Will you close recruitment? I don't really play so it doesn't impact me, but this whole b.s about numbers is a tax disingenuous when you're outnumbering nihilum by 25-40% on average. (That doesn't even include the level gear disparity)
