I would love to be a GM and give something back to the community but I'm not willing to go into witness protection to do so. Kind of pointless anyways at the speed in which identities get compromised around here.
Yea, there are some people who go out of their way to do this. The fact I had 2 different websites hacked to find any information out and my IP address to trace it down is stupid. Even better is having morons come into irc or in game harass you about it. I was chill enough to blow it off, but looking back on it those people should have been banned.

Yeah, well don't let my response confuse you too much. I'm not suggesting that there are members of staff that need to be watched (certainly not, in fact). But when you take a role on staff here you should expect to be watched and scrutinized by the maintainers, regardless of your access level or role. It's the way it should be, and is best for the community.
They absolutely should be watched because they are previous players/current players and not watching them would be silly. Especially so because of what some of the past staff members have done (sure they contributed, but some have also done great harm).

On agnome? It isn't showing past 2013 for me. Ephi would have to look it up if he can. As for what Nizzarr said it seems pretty close to what I can see in the trades. Such a incestuousness relationship on that server.

I think on the past issue was more or less it was 1 Gm, and a Guide who didn't have access to anything like we do now. Now there is a full staff with tools to look stuff up even on the basic stuff. The check and balances are well in place now where there is a manpower to do it with. In the past, not so much I think.

While justice may be served when you guys do all of this tracking down of where items went and end up returning them to their proper owner, you should really consider just telling people who have their stuff stolen to deal with it.

Especially when they admit to giving other people their person information. Stop refunding the items and eventually people are going to stop handing out their personal information. It's also less work for all of you.. another no-brainer win-win!
