There is absolutely nothing fun or challenging about the raid scene on Project 1999. I've been at 20 or 30 raids during the FE/TMO thing. It's pretty much what you described: mob pops, race like hell to log in or get to the zone, massive zerg, cast three or four spells before the mob dies, bunch of pissing at each other in ooc, then wait for the GM to award loot.

Project 1999 raiding is a test of who has absolutely nothing better to do with their time than try to be the top players that they weren't ten years ago. It will always be that way until the staff decides they want it to be different. I think they like it the way it is.

well this morning's incident was handled and should have been kept handled as it was, not on rnf. i talked to sloan about the ethics involved and he and I had an understanding that ended with the rotting lute from maestro being offered to any of our bards. i found out who was still on the batphone. the glitch was corrected. end of story.

To compare FE to TMO for that is pretty much the most ridiculous claim in all of rnf history.
