Back on topic, I got told I’m getting sent to Washington DC for some training in a few weeks. Which is awesome cuz my mom lives in the area and I’m a shit son who hasn’t visited in far too long.

Passport renewal got lost in the bureaucracy so we took a 3 hour drive to their offices, expecting to have to gigakaren mode to get it sorted, but they were able to recognise their mistake, get things in order and we walked out with a replacement passport in under an hour. They usually take 10 weeks!
