Nor do you know Putin, ex-KGB pining for the glorious days of the Soviet Union and willing to invade and conquer countries he feels are still Russian.

This time he went too far. He got away with Crimea, he can't be allowed to get away with any more. NATO expanded because of his actions, and because of him NATO still even has reason to exist. For a while there it seemed like NATO was no longer needed. Putin showed us that's not true.

Unfortunately the boards are also full of hypersensitive babies who are able to interpret almost any statement as "disguised hate speech". This is the exact same trend that ruined somethingawful and all other previously interesting discussion forums. Hopefully it doesn't happen here.

I mean, there's an ignore feature for a reason. You can "ban" anyone you want if their words ruffle your feathers too harshly. Obviously legit threats of violence, doxing, and blatant outright racism shouldn't be allowed, but we're also adults.

If you don't like what somebody says try to change their mind. Running to the "go away" button like a puritan doesn't enlighten them or you.
