thanks, delivering threads is my forte. just remember kids, /log, screenshot, /report, and petition any and all conversations you have with everyone around your camp. you never know whos friends with hobby out there and even if you can prove theyre violating rules on camps, defined that is not good enough

Can Hobby or another GM clarify my previous post of "Just because the camps are right next to each other doesnt discount the fact that the druid couldnt survive his camp on his own. So if theres 3 camps and 4 people, and it takes 2 people to do 1 of the camps, 1 camp becomes open. you do not need permission to take that open camp." is not true? Im just going by the rules posted so itd be nice to see how im misunderstanding

He mad.

The one rule on Sullon Zek was that there were no rules. The level restrictions on PvP combat were removed, training and corpse-camping became legitimate tools of war, and GM's took an entirely “Laissez affaires” attitude toward players grievances. Sullon Zek was to become one of the most ruthless, savage displays of antisocial humanity to ever exist in an online game, drawing the most competitive, committed players from the EverQuest community to a single battlefield.

Those playing on Sullon suffered incredible levels of torment and frustration, lost months worth of achievements in a matter of hours, and spent endless nights in combat against relentless and merciless foes. Yet speaking with players who fought and died on the fields of Sullon Zek, one finds their appreciation for the server, their sense of accomplishment about battles both won and lost, and their desire to return to be unanimous. As barbaric as Sullon Zek was, it was the greatest PvP server to yet exist in a multiplayer MMO."
I'd like to point out that this was a new frontier, and griefing tactics were perfected here. I'd also like to point out there was a very large pool of players, and the odds of keeping even several hundreds of players in a griefing style server is going to be highly unlikely. I can also point out that a low pop. server with griefing is going to be complete shit.

The greatest experiences in Everquest I ever had were on VZTZ 1.0-3.0 with legitimate mass pvp battles over raid targets. Only in plane of fear/hate did we see trains ruin these fights. Very rarely Sebilis. If even one GM is able to be present for the big raid fights they tend to go smoothly. And even the small scale PVP in dungeons like Lower Guk and Solusek B were fucking epic.

Hacks - They ruined the server at certain points, no doubt about it.
LV - 1.0 . Eventually banned.
8iu- 1.0 Zonecmd delete, ends server.

Nonetheless, between these rare instances of faggotry, there was nothing but epic battles and sweet taste of victory. Mass PVP excluding the above mentioned abuse, was controlled by the better guild, no MQ sploits could save a bad guild from a better coordinated team.

Just seems like blatant GM favoritism to me. rules are clearly defined. i followed the rules. the other people didnt and the faulty parties even admitted they werent following the rules. yet GM decision favored them. mad? maybe disappointed

yeah for some reason i thought that GMs would be impartial when it came to camp disputes, so if i played by the rules i wouldnt have anything to worry about. unfortunately this was not this case this time. well see whats good on that p99RED

It amazes me when assholes like you, who routinely attempt to abuse the letter of the rules in order to act like dickweeds to people, get screwed and then try to gain public sympathy.

Anyone who has spent any time in Lguk is aware of Kateaustin the camp stealer. "Wut, your medding and your mob popped? ITS MINE - read the rules bro, if its popped it means i can engage first!"

luckily this did not happen to me, but really? REALLY? Glad you quit.

Group A camps an item and hands off to Group B, then C, then D, then E, then Group 1 comes in wanting the camp. Seeing that Group E has it and might be getting some food or whatever by not immediately responding, they squat knowing the s*it storm that will ensue. I can almost guarantee the same would happen if the situation were reversed. I'll repeat myself... all the while knowing that bad feelings and an argument are going to occur. The game is massive yet people seem more than willing to infringe upon others instead of making a little fun for themselves. (granted some people appear to enjoy stepping on others as much as possible)

I do not condone camping an item consistently to hobble everyone else. I think such tactics are deplorable and those doing so, if they really were should be honest about it, take the lumps and move on. But I also know that alot of people make assumptions and fly off the handle with little or no information based on what they want to believe or what they think their toons eyes see. Everyone wants to believe they are right in what they do.

Considering how fluffy these forums are, it is not enough for some to call someone out on...whatever they believe they were doing. There has to be a statement...a thread, a bloody manifesto on the fact that Group 1 caught Group E doing something they shouldn't. And implicating the Devs themselves when satisfaction was not afforded. And everyone else has to hear about it with the RED99ers supporting every negative thing happening to promote their cause.

I'll say it again though I doubt a third time won't mean anymore then the first....No one is shackling you to be here. If the game, the people, the forums etc. upset you, get up, grab a coke and go do something else. Why on earth is your time spent griefing, grieving and hating over people you don't really know, on a game that you play to have fun and relax that obviously isn't fun or relaxing? How many times do you put coins in the machine, knowing its going to thrash you each time you do? If your incapable of diplomacy or just silently moving on, finding another camp with the goal to just have fun then your part of the bloody problem no matter what dirt you think you have on someone else's actions.
