Thats because Durison was a horrible leader who relied on other people to lead his guild. At first it was Salty and Bronson, then myself, then Veric, then Aadill, and in the period you're talking about it was Sochin. Durison eventually did a great job of shitting all over those people until they quit or left. After Sochin quit Ascension was shit until they merged with TMO. Also you're right, most of DA did cheat or RMT. I got my copy of SEQ from another DA member, and know the majority of their old leadership (pre-fusion) used it as well, and quite a few 2-boxed (although kinda hard for you to hate on that though, eh Jeremy?).

I think it is pretty funny how similar all this TMO/FE drama is to the IB/Trans, IB/DA, TR/TMO drama of the past. Same drama, just new top dog it seems.

I like how you think Ascension was so much more qualified with a couple of early kills in Kunark and the guild basically falling apart too. If TR kills 47 mobs and Ascension kills 3 and TMO kills 1, Ascension and TMO are both still scrubs - it doesn't matter that Ascension had 3x the kills lol.

Fusion had killed many more mobs than TMO. They were competing at Trak ledge a couple of times, and I can assure you TR considered them much more of a threat than TMO at that point in time.

TMO had literally accomplished nothing. If you have something to add to my list of TMO accomplishments, by all means do so.

Since I was there for all of them though, I can assure you you're going to be sorely dissappointed.

TMO showed up to the server years after most of the people in the scene at that point. You can't blame them for being a little bit behind. It's not like they didn't catch up.

I think it's really pathetic that you think there's some distinction between the validity of a guild that has or has not undergone a merger - but hey, if it makes you feel like less of a scrub, ok. It is completely irrelevant the exact means by which people come together in that regard. We both had good people, we worked well together, and over time we've managed to filter out most of the trash. I stopped making the distinction between TMO and Ascension a long time ago.

If you think we so crap, come show us how bad we are in game. So many derpy opinions and hollow conjecture!

Fusion was a goat fuck done by Durison that destroyed Dark Ascension - biggest mistake he made.

Acarer lost his mind one night because some of the veteran DA members were trying to grind to 60 while they were poopsocking Trakanon... eventhough the members would have been able to get down there faster than the batphone went off had Trak spawned.

Acarer proceeded to guild remove them...

They proceeded to create "Ascension" ... All the good players that were Fusion joined Ascension - all the scrubs stayed with Acaraderp. (Some Dozekar etc)

Acarer couldn't join any guilds because he was a horribad rager.

Ascension decided to merge with TMO - Ascension lacked Leadership which TMO had plenty of. This is why TMO became successful... Ascension had dedicated, skilled, disciplined raiders and TMO had leaders. Was the perfect merger.

IB - then TR... couldn't do anything to stop them as they started getting one trakanon - Xzerion was no where to be seen after Uthgaard exposed him... Uthgaard quit as staff after nothing was done about it - big hax0rs 2011 half of IB / TR gets suspended... TMO wins.

The point is FE is doing work, and is doing it the correct way. I'm happy for them/the server because of this.

Jeremy try to recall and list TMO's accomplishments prior to the Ascension merger in August of 2011.

What had TMO killed? Here's a list:
Vox: once (server repop)
Fay: once (server repop)
VS: once (server repop)
Innoruuk: once (co-raid with VD to beat IB)
Naggy: .5 (TMO poop socked for 36 hours, yet IB had FTE and got xp/loot.. they still claim a win? lol)
Tal: 0
Sev: 0
Gore: 0
Trak: 0
Draco: once (co-raid with IB)
CT: 0

FE is doing things the right way, and I'm impressed and can't wait for the first guild to earn their way to a VP dragon.
