Get rid of /ooc

I know that 93% of the posters here are trolling for lulz, but for the 7% who aren't I'll post the following.

Sundawg makes classic code proposed changes that are then reviewed by Nilbog for approval. Nilbog makes the final call. Every single change he has proposed has been classic and needed. Who cares that he also plays? He has no access to any GM abilities, spawn timer information, anything that can even remotely help anyone on this server. If anything, because he is rumored to play here in the end game guild, he gains access to see game breaking bugs or exploits that other people would likely not bother reporting, <cough> TMO <cough>, such as the way too small Trakanon aggro range and the Chardok Royals. The proposed change to the Royals was finalized only a few days after we did them, a change that is certainly "detrimental" to ease but positive for the classic experience we are all here for. If not for his rumored presence in the end game guild here on Red, many of these bugs would never be fixed. I've still yet to see a single change he's made that isn't accurate or people are disputing.

As far as the other troll account made, the guy is trolling the trolls who don't play here and do nothing but bitch and cry on these forums 24/7 racking up more days played on the forums than some of the most active people in game. They contribute nothing except the same old rehashed one liners that weren't funny six years ago except to the other ten to twelve trolls that all circle jerk each other in every thread on these forums and scare away the many people on Blue who would otherwise like to give this server a chance (hence why OOC needs to go as well). The only people Sundawg is trolling are the trolls trying to scare away anyone potentially interested in this server. The forums need SMS authentication badly or account linkage so we can cut down on all the same bullshit that goes on them 24/7. This would never fly on an actual MMORPG boards nowadays, the accounts would be instabanned and you'd be unable to post without another CD Key. Either do something about the trolling here or just shut the boards down tbh, they do nothing other than hurt this server.

It's a good thing HB has a bad reputation too or else people might get confused by his tangent. As such I assume most people are gonna laugh when you raise pitchfork to the sky for SMS/cdkey identification lock down on the forums to save the server.

I've agreed with him btw that "boy that change sure is a coincidence". I'll let it that go. But what I can't agree with is the "I was very surprised to see people up in arms about that given the timing". Yeah, right, OK... bold lol.

I agree having coward troll accounts needs to go. In fact, I've suggested to Sirken that trolling up a storm outside of RnF with an anonymous account should result in forum account ban and deleted posts. If they can't ensure people can't come back and make a new account, they can just keep cleaning up the mess /shrug. I completely agree it wouldn't fly on modern MMORPG boards and they tie IN GAME PENALTIES to forum behavior.

As far as Nilbog making the final call, he sees the change is classic and makes it... but that is missing the point I'm making entirely. He isn't aware, and probably shouldn't need to be aware of what is going on day to day here. I don't accuse him of bias, or flaw in that process and I'm glad the change is in now. Nilbog is trying to make the server classic, and does a great job at it. However, the point being dodged is the reasoning for doing it and the methodology involved.

Nihilum farms Chardok royals, I can't say how many times over how many months. Azrael starts farming it, change is made almost immediately and I don't see a bug post about it (remember... the PROCESS is being ignored). Also consider how long it takes to get most things reviewed, fixed and approved by comparison. Having a dev to message in the guild to get things quickly changed by not following the process everyone else has to follow, well... yeah have fun deconstructing that Heartbrand, its obvious, proven and objective. Further, Nizzar is fully aware he is a dev and messaged him privately about it. Trying to explain this away really kills any attempts you think you're making to be legit.

You know what helps? is a dev being in game SEEING whats wrong, no second guessing, no need to go on the bug forum.

The fact hes in game helps tremendously -- he doesnt have to make bug reports about it. He goes in the developpers forums, make a fix, post the fix, fix get reviewed and accepted. You're probably fuming at the thoughts of fixes not going under Nirgon's magnifying glasses, but such is life. If you wanna see those fixes, then join the team or shut the fuck up.

He's made many of those changes as far as I can tell, and theyre all for the better of the blue and red server.

As far as going under my magnifying glass? I'm agreeing with the change, if you guys can read, and I know you're completely capable of doing so. I'm questioning the methodology and timing.

Why didn't you report it immediately Nizzar? I'll just venture a guess, it suddenly occurred to you when Azrael started being able to do it OR you reported it on day one and this is a coincidence. Mmmmhm.

Edit: Here's a fun fact apparently Nizzar has access to an enchanter that he shared to help prove the faction change. How about take it up to Sky and try to dictate Sirran. That'd do mighty fine in shutting me up. Another thing is if I offered an enchanter, I'm sure that offer would be ignored.
