Where did you hear about Project 1999?

Been a poster of foh for years. Followed this since it was just a site with no content. Finally when time and everything worked I joined a week or so ago. Been loving it ever since.

I heard about the project from a friend the day before it was released, and he pretty much got every one of my other friends involved on the server with the same text message too.

Something along the lines of, "CHECK OUT PROJECT 1999 ON EMU". Started playing as soon as it came out.

It all started when I was vacationing in the Himalayas with some friends. Our guide turned out to be an incredible (and very resourceful) cook, and made Chinese food for us while we were snowed-in about halfway up K2. When we got to the fortune cookies, mine said "Seek project1999.org"...so here I am.
