rangers with disc are top dps in kael and its not even close. Will probably get better with the archery fix.

If you look at the larger parse good rangers beat bad rogues all the time. People focus too much on the top 10 and not the other 30+ melees. The back end of the curve is the problem with a raid. Outside mistakes and clerics that can’t count.

Not to make this a class v class argument but rangers are a raid luxury and aren’t overplayed to a detrimental raid comp level. Arguably, I’d rather be a ranger trying hard than a rogue getting beat by them.

How are we defining good ranger vs bad rogue here? Some players are shit, yes. Just both classes having a pulse, ranger does not compare with a semi-conscious rogue pressing backstab every 15 seconds. That bar may be sorta high, but I've played with some of the best.

Rng is a better abbreviation than rog in what is essentially a dressed up dice game.

I agree. If you gathered up an equal number of rogues and rangers and averaged their dps rogues are much higher.

I still think it’s good to try and do your best with any class. Monks have had a chip on their shoulder trying to beat rogues for 20 years. I’ll take that chip any day if the net positive is trying to improve. It feels good to make an AoW parse with a ranger even if top #15 and sending people spinning with insecurity.

Well that's why you spend a year of your life playing a dead game really hard to get items to help improve those odds. What is it? Like 63 atk from rangers? Great class.
