It would probably help with the hacking. Bigger loss if you get caught.

You have to build that sense of community if you want something good long term.

your goal can't be to powergrind levels on a pvp server. you have to be willing to take on 50% of your play time being thrown away at battling other players and corpse runs. you have to bind closer to your pve locations to save grief. you have to take the time to make friends and form alliances to maintain zone control

reputation really matters on pvp servers, too.

those saying increase the exp rate / low level pvp sucks, you really don't know what you're missing. certain classes accel at different levels throughout the game. it's really a blast seeing how you fair throughout the entire leveling process.

is raid/zone control pvp a blast? hell yes. is low and mid level pvp equally fun? hell yes. who says you can't have an epic war for zone control of a lowbie dungeon like blackburrow?

stay as classic as possible - as with p1999 blue, you'll see a lot of success.

people can piss and moan all they want - the reason we are all here is we miss the live classic experience. no need to improve upon what already worked just to appease a percentage.

Dude, p99 isn't just slow – it's fucking painful. Red69 is "slow." I'm tellin' you, people are forgetting how it really was.

If this is any indication of whats to come from the so called pvp community then Red99 may actually capture abit of the old magic.

Thats what im saying Knuckle, i dont see what all the fuss is about really.
pvp in your lvl range thats all you gotta do.What your actual lvl range is, is irrelevant.

like live single box exp for pvp can work if there is a population ,problem is if the populatin is too low classes that cant solo wont be able level very easily. Its great if the populatin for a speculative red99 is high but what do people expect the population to be at peak hours after the hype of the server is gone?

Thinking we will see 400,300, or 200 after a month or two? I hope its high but i put the O/U at 125 after 2 months

This shit placeholder server had what 75 unique players. That is just counting the desperate losers who have nothing better to do with their time and are satisfied with any form of temporary eqpvp fix.

I'd say ~300 is a far more accurate estimate

300 opening few days, 200 after a month. 100 after two months and the largest guild starts making demands or they'll ragequit off the server.
