Well shit and fuck. And lolocaust at accident magnet.
I have been exceedingly lucky. Last thing that hit me was a fucking roo. Hit me from the side, nighttime and took the front nearside guard/door out. Scared the absolute shit outta me. Locals say it was bound to happen eventually. Sorry... it is true though. Luckily it didnt try to sit on my lap.

It wasn’t as bad as I expected battling insurance. It was a white dude with dreadlocks so at first I was like oh shit, he better have insurance. But we actually had the same plan. So when they called to “determine liability” I said look we were both in the same position. We both had to jam on the brakes because a fire truck was roaring down a side street and the guy in front of me jammed on his. I was able to stop without hitting him, the guy behind me wasn’t without hitting me. I’m not going to speculate on why, but I shouldn’t be responsible at all for this… and the insurance lady said his plan will be paying 100% of my repair and rental So a decent ending other than now having the hassle of setting up the repair

Hey Hagglebaby, I'm glad to read the crash got resolved satisfactorily.
Where you are from do non-liable claims and accidents without claims still count against future insurance premiums? Or is it a case of 'it isn't your fault so we won't jack up next year's prices'? Where I'm from it is considered that if you are in an accident, even when it isn't your fault, you're more likely to be involved in future accdients so you premiums go up. Nope^4 totally agree about the skills you can get from EQ. It can be a big time sink, and honestly it is easy for it to be a brainrot comparable to TV if you're just semi-afk killing by just auto attacking / sending pet / spamming nukes. That said, even TV can have benefits, but I believe the benefits of EQ can be really quite high. Definitely eq helps develop social skills (especially in online contexts, which is super relevant these days, and leadership and teamworker skills). It helps goal selection and planning skills, budgeting skills, and research skills. Hell, as we see in the monk weapon selection skills it can be a good arena to learn and develop literacy in mathematical statistics, experimental design and more! From stats you can consider other eq adjacent things, such as forums. Definately I'm a much better shitposter on account of Everquest. My racism and general biggotry skills were very underdeveloped before I joined these forums.
