Unshinghero is a social worker/ helps police. Probably some psyche nursing stuff.

Most of it was spent at a school doing a safety assessment on a 13yr old boy. Pic from the counselor’s office I took waiting on the parents to come in to talk to them first The safety assessment is the shortest and easiest part, the other 2ish hours was talking to the parents to explore what is the function of this kid’s behavior, family dynamics, what are the contributing factors, and what can be done to prevent a similar situation from occurring in the future. Lots of parenting strategies discussed because these parents were receptive to these (many parents aren’t). I wish the officer admin could have gotten exposure to how we handle a psychotic and/or intoxicated adult but I can’t control what requests I happen to get If star or anyone else is still reading, if anyone has cool/unusual date ideas I’m trying to figure something out.
