Those are all arabic words though, spoken in arabic it doesn't just sound like a K. Close but not exactly the same. Qeynos is a fantasy elf name, so there's more wiggle room with how to properly pronounce it.

in an elven fantasy world things are presumably written phonetically. I also heard brad pronounce it Qeynos once, case closed.
