Why read/contribute then? You had to know this comment was coming, its the obvious response. I am holding out for a better offer.

Ask any lvl 60 in a top guild to transfer (AM, Tempest, AG, BG, PS, Kittens)or any of the big merchants (Arleigh, Deals, Feybank) in EC tunnel... I have done countless transfers this way and always get my items.. dropping items on the ground in a zone with other players has to be the stupidest thing you could do.

It also shouldn't be reimbursed. Waste of GM's time when you could have taken 10 seconds to ask someone to transfer for you.

Can close up thread now.

except instead of random anons its a shark attack of a small clique that posts here all the time. so he's doubly fucked.

if the transfer happened in the tunnel, the gloves definitely didn't poof.

Someone picked them up.

Was it Colonel Mustard with the candlestick?

I must know. When's the next episode of this air?

Yes, the gloves were obviously picked up. SO WHAT?

Items on the ground are FFA....read the rules. A dropped item is considered discarded. So regardless of who picked them up, that person did nothing wrong.

Given that the ground xfer attempt happened in the EC tunnel, the devs should reward the OP with a /tell about why lessons learned the hard way are the ones that stick.

Not exactly hardcore to understand the amount of foolishness in dropping a top ten hand item on the ground in the EC tunnel.

Thinking of ALS however, for the OP, if they need to do ground transfers, do it around a bunch of ALS folks, since our charter has a rule against picking items up off the ground.

This is more bizarre than OP drop trading in the bazaar
