People who think OP didn't give enough time should try Seafuries some time. Those things rarely stand for more then 3 seconds before being tagged.

I mean, yes it sucks to camp something for hours, and lose it because you looked away for a moment, but that's kinda of the nature of the beast that is p99. It's sort of the reason the term "poopsocking" even exists, right?
You can't use Seafury isle, aka The Isle of Gunslinging, as precedent/example of any rules.

Seafury has been FFA based on first to do 1 single point of damage for 7 full years.

Don't think it's about damage, just who tags it first.

And I'm not saying it's the exact same situation, just that everything is relative, and the 30ish second grace period was (imo) more than enough, if the camper had been paying any attention.

Overall this thread has been fantastic, but not quite up to its potential.

6.5/10, would recommend to new forumquesters for minimum-acceptable reference.

---for the future---

+1 more for screenshots

+1 more for posting in r&f so that we could have real fun.

+1 more for staying after they lost their shit to collect more tears in your logs / screenshots, for additional lulz.

+0.5 for snark tone / pizzazz

The same Vaniki that FoH cleared down to deep inside the rat caves including the Construct that was in the way?

The same Vaniki our monk pulled from its spawn point and FD split while your druid (Nuffwin) tagged it and gated to zone? (same druid failed earlier and aggro'd some rats whom he trained onto our raid and gated btw)

The same Vaniki that Llandris said was a clean pull by FoH after Vaniki had reset to his bind point because your druid had somehow lost aggro? (died/zoned)

For a guild whose Officers are such strong advocates for clearing to the intended targets and killing mobs on their spawn point your actions sure prove otherwise. Case of when the shoe fits... you're not exactly a shining beacon of light yourselves

Fires is just the current "trash of the server" guild... they are always a passing thing.

Oh Lunatick is all over RnF and server chat if you want to go back on some of the past pages. So I think he rightly earns the reputation that he deserves on both 'server chat' and 'RnF' threads.

I had asked CSR's about this before, they mentioned (a few years ago) that a 'reasonable' time to engage Haden is around 10 seconds after pop.
