Nope they perma banned me after the ban was up because I said it was a dumb ban to begin with and asked if I could get the IP exemption reinstated so that my gf and I could play together. I THINK they perma banned me because I asked for an IP exemption again because I know they don't ban for disagree with a ban. You can disagree with whatever you want, theres nothing in the rules about disagreeing with something. I mean I see a LOT worse rant posts than anything I've ever posted or said.

That's after my gf took a pic too of me playing the game which I didn't even know she did while I was playing on my main, and posted it in the petition section of this forum. Asking the GMs to give her an IP exemption basically so she could play while I was.

recap of what's happened and how GMs handle situations in EQ p99:

- I got an IP exemption for my gf and mine accounts.

- I logged into her account the day I got exemption to give her some gear to make her happy. didn't cheat, exploit, powerlevel, or give myself any kind of unfair advantage. I got a 30 day suspension for this.

- After 30 day ban I got on the forum and asked about getting an IP exemption again and decide to give p99 ONE more try.

- Braknar or something replies and continues trying to scold me about the game destroying effect my transferring items had on the stability of p99 ( I know I fucked all your guys' shit up for this and am truly sorry please forgive me )

- I reply and say I don't know what to do if my gf and I can't get another IP exemption because Its really getting to the annoying point not being able to play the video game with her (basically cannot play EQ at all now and asking for it to be resolved though GMs - I can't play at all because all she does is annoy me while I'm playing by myself)

- BRaknar or whatever perma bans me after this.

for the people that sent me pms and agreed with me and even offered me help getting back into the game after this first ban I rly appreciate it and my gf does too. This game is rly fun and I used to enjoy it a lot especially on live the most. I tried getting another active player into the community and I get banned for it. I try to participate in the community and the GMs fuck my shit up.

I don't know what else to do. is this post going to get removed too if I say I disagree with how the GMs handled this as well back to back now?

I don't understand this. The GMs are making it MORE difficult for two active players to play this fucking game. What is wrong with them? I've never seen this in any other game ever. Aren't GMs there to HELP people? Not ban them over dumb things? I can see the first ban I got - ok. I broke the rules whatever. I even said I understood that just didn't agree with the punishment. Nor do many other people who I've talked to since I got back into the game. The overwhelmingly majority of people I've spoke to have agreed with me and said this is bullshit.

This is on a personal level now and a GM is straight up abusing his power. period. Twist it however you want. Those are facts. I'm tryin gto reach out to others to help me because this one GM is fucking with me to the point of harassment.

If you're saying there has to be more to this situation in order for a GM to PERMA ban over this, no, there isn't. This is why I'm posting this and why I posted this thread in the first place. Because Its amazing how these things are handled and I've never seen it happen anywhere else.

I have a feeling no matter what I did you would be saying I did something wrong if it meant having to take a regular players side or a GMs. Is it possible GMs make mistakes too?

Also yeah I mean I initially downloaded this game to get my gf into mmos on pc. Its easy, its simple, it spawned basically every rpgmmo out there. I wanted something we both could play. If I can't get an IP exempt that pretty much defeats the purpose. I'm just saying the GMs in this are perma banning two perfectly decent active players. I mean one is a noob and never played, but isn't that a good thing? trying to get new people interested in a 10+ year old game?
