Killed Djarn.

Chanter died cuz he was poopin', bro.

We laughed at your corpse for hours. Figured you weren't coming to get if for awhile, being a raging baddy.
Or maybe I didn't get it because there was nothing on it except a throwaway item. It's funny you stared at it for hours (contradicting your own story about how long you were there) and yet still failed to realize that the corpse was naked.

Secondly, if your enchanter was dumb enough to AFK without bothering to time the respawn it's his own fault for dying but the fact you admitted BOTH of you went afk at the same time in a 2 man group is just beyond retarded. You're saying it like it makes the wipe better (not our fault we were afk) when it actually makes you look worse.

Uberom. Me and my buddy have a mage/shaman setup, and I was curious if you think this would work without the mez? We want to get down to Efreeti and camp it!

Honestly, I've never duoed with a shaman before. The only reason a Chanter/Mage can do the camp is because the charmed Imps can take some serious damage before dying. Our imp tanked efreeti the whole fight. They both went down almost the same time.

Sorry I can't give you any guidance on this. I wouldn't try it with that combo, though.

It was in air elemental form.

We were there for hours. Read the story correctly.

We didn't wipe. He died. I was alive the entire time.

The spawns were timed. He just was in the wrong spot and got aggro by a roamer. Was very close.

If you do go, make sure you bring a bunch of people. If you don't have a lot of people, a group will come steal your spawn. Then if you petition, you guys will have to /random 100 to get it back.

Imps are a royal pain to slow, and you'd have 0 ability to get the mobs off of the shaman even if you were successful slowing, outside of spamming root.

I've seen shaman who were convinced their god-given reason to be at efreeti was to slow mobs die repeatedly.. even in full groups. also without a complete healer your mage is basically going to have to chain pet... which wipes aggro and gets mobs ticked at the shaman all over again.

Factor in the idea that neither of you have any real form of mana regen, it'd be one helluva break in. Oh, and you can't lull either, so you're really in for one heckuva fight.

If you tossed in a necro, at least you'd get bonus heals, one class with mana regen, an added pet for dps, and ghetto mes. We used to break and hold freeti with 2 necros and a druid all the time, altho it was more for the thrill of it than the practicality of it. You simply can't beat ENC/CLR for the slow safe method, or ENC/MAG for the faster, less-safe method. Tbh even an ENC / NEC would be a better combo than shm/mag.

p.s. -- where in the pages of drivel on this situation did you get the brainstorm that the p1999 efreeti camp was:

a. ) easy to break and hold

b. ) rarely contested

and

c. ) rarely camped, to the point it'd be a consistent 'cash cow' for anyone? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I quit after I got a 1 month ban for accidentally training the crushbone zoneline.

Guy sends me a tell saying "im friends with Uuthgard, enjoy your ban!"
Next thing I know I'm booted to char select and it says I've been suspended.

What a JOKE of a server lmao -- more corrupt than TZ/VZ ever was. If GMs are banning people cuz they "trained" their friends, I can only imagine the end-game favoritism that's probably going on.

OH BTW, my lvl 25 Rogue died in the train also -- clearly it was an "intentional" train lmao.
