Don't think projecting your failures to be responsible enough to be armed onto me means I, or others like me, shouldn't have firearms or are more risk than we are worth.

Most violent shootings are composed of individuals who illegally own guns, or own illegal guns. If people actually followed the laws, the numbers would change drastically.... Sadly they do not, thankfully we have guns to help protect ourselves from those individuals who choose not to follow the law and act in a way against us and those we love in the comfort of our work environments, homes, and public areas.

But thanks for proving the point behind how the media can turn any story around to fit their agendas. They still can't skew numbers that were in place before their opinion was.

Where the hell did that post that showed gun-related deaths in the US compared to a bunch of other countries go? I was going to adjust the numbers based on population and estimates for numbers of guns in the countries to see how it actually measures up.
