Yes? I mean good internet habits dictate you should change all your passwords every 3-6 months as it is. Nowadays with people having apps on their phones that they store passwords in it's not beyond the realm. Wouldn't it be possible to tie an IP to an account? Does anyone have dynamic IPs nowadays?

You do know there are these things called laptops and WiFi networks right? You can also play from any computer via a flash drive. People don't just play on one computer in their home now days. Besides try resetting your cable modem and seeing if you get the same IP address.

There could be the possibility of tying accounts to MAC addresses and having to get permission to play on each new computer; however, that would be an insane amount of work for the staff to set up.

No IP's are basically worthless when it comes to banning or tieing things too. You can change your IP address everyday if you wanted too.

Sometimes I like to... ya know... move to a different town and not be tied to one house because of my EQ account.

Or, be out of town and use my laptop.

Yes, and even if not dynamic, many more change periodically. Besides, you can change you IP easily.
