Red Pill: Starwars was never that good. It was just one of the first sci-fi adventures with special effects when movie theaters were relatively new still. The story of the first 3 (4,5,6) was ok. That's why they were the only ones made originally... before the era of diminishing profits and focusing on selling "brands" over good products (hence, everything popular has a sequel now).

Lucas wrote this shit when he was like 18-19. Many of you are actually more capable of writing a good story than him.

You have to admit, as worn down as it is now, "Luke, I am your father" was a great moment in Human entertainment.

I don't know much about the handmaid's tale. It just sounds like the kind of opportunistic garbage to take advantage of the #metoo buzz that film makers would come out with.

White women will one day be forced to admit they never had it that bad*. There was never a point in time when you could definitively say "if I was born a man, my life would be easier" in America. As far as I can tell...maybe the 60s (being fully grown in the 80s) -- If there was one time.

For every hopeless women being abused by the men in power around them, there was just as many hopeless men sent to some ditch to die or lived some miserable poverty stricken life.

*In America, relative to other groups.

You know Plato figured out how important theater is for propaganda like over 2.5 thousand years ago. Meanwhile every big historical event back in the WW2 era and beyond had key films that are sited as important for the war/propaganda effort of the times.

Yet, people still think you are over-analyzing and tin-foil-hatting everytime you tie modern media figures to modern politics or agenda. Historical films often tell you more about the times in which the film is made than the historical event it depicts. That is the case now and it has always been.

So apparently Schultz -- CEO of Starbucks, is thinking about running in 2020.

He's worried about radical democrats promising free stuff. Like all rich establishment democrats that no one asked for or likes.

If you haven't noticed -- no one fucking likes these people. Trump could publicly rape a van full of teenage nuns -- and no one is going to like that prune bitch Nancy Pelosi anyway. No one likes her.

No one likes Schultz and Petes is better. No one like Gavin Newsome except old rich women in California. And everyone fucking despised Pelosi and Schumer.

Its hard finishing Lenin's Tomb. Because Remnick the author -- an elitist Jew that vacations for a living and writes about it -- hadn't yet got the memo back in 1991 that giving out all the state resources of the Soviet Union to a couple of hand picked oligarchs was actually a huge problem. Capitalism wasn't the solution that he so obviously thinks it is in the book. And you would be hard pressed to find someone as smug about western success alive now a days. David Remnick has since resigned himself to writing fluffy garbage about what a great man Obama was...funny I don't hear as many rightwingers praising his analysis of that. Just when he said shit they wanted to hear about socialism causing failure in Russia.

The problem lies with declaring whole groups as 'oppressed'. The only time you can accurately do that is when the oppression is clearly systematic. Meaning laws are involved or an oppressive ideology is accepted by the public.

Privilege and 'oppression' can only be determined at the individual level. Everyone born in the US/Western world is privileged. Even dirt poor minorities or LGBTUGHDBD+.

If you're reading this, you're probably in the 1% of the world's wealthiest.

Just because someone is white and/or male, doesn't automatically mean life is easy. Everyone has to deal with bullshit in their lives, even the super elite.

Hell, I live in a black neighborhood. If a cop sees me pulling into my own neighborhood, there's a good chance he'll pull me over because I'm a young white guy pulling into a ghetto.

We all have our own shit to deal with.

Yes it is Poke. The world is a giant contest were some start on 3rd base. And the fucking women are arguing they started first...when we all know they stole 2nd a long time ago -- 3rd in the case of white women.

I don't understand baseball or sports that well or I'm sure I could make that funnier.
