- Sumo's are not real deadlifts, I agree [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

- There's a guy in my gym who squats 5 plates each side who lifts like this. Makes as much noise and glances around to make sure he's gotten as many people's attention as possible. Still impressive though

"Any new idea as bold as really hot chicks as models will be met with some skepticism, and we're gonna have to be really careful with how we introduce it to the public."

There’s been some info coming out that a lot of Omgea-3 fish oil may be rancid. And for the first time I just noticed this little guy in my Fish Oil supplement

Smelled it and it’s clearly an air freshener. Hmm this to cover the rancid smell?….

My co-worker says he had a very overweight friend that is suicidal over not being able to get a date for more than 15 years and insecurity over apparently having a small dick

I told co-worker to tell him losing that fat could improve so many of life’s problems. In addition to more confidence, he’ll also have more testosterone, and a bigger dick. Fat people may not realize but a layer of fat builds up around the shaft, which could cost them more than an inch in size

But still he won’t do it. This is where I wish I could have a service where I go inside someone else’s body to lose the weight for them. I’d have my rate be thousands of dollars once the job’s done and people would pay it :/

i gotta take some sweet jacked leg pics for you guys. most of my workouts/adventures are leg days. i sometimes wish i had a slightly bigger upper body (just for looks/aesthetics) but any added weight that isn't helping me move around the mountains is hindering me. im very dialed in to what i need to do to accomplish my specific goals.

Quote:
Mountain Strong Isn’t Gym Strong

For many, the term strength training conjures images of muscle-bound gym-goers grunting out bicep curls in front of a mirror or chasing a new one-rep max for a particular lift. Banish that from your mind, because that is not what strength training should look like for you as an endurance athlete. A trail runner, mountaineer, climber, or skier ultimately needs to develop event specific functional strength for their given activity, not bulk they’ll then have to haul up a hill, mountain, or route. You simply can’t afford to gain strength at the expense of adding appreciable muscle mass.

Mountain strength training has two primary aims: first, to unlock your full performance potential in your chosen mountain sport; second, to prevent injuries. The goal is not to become stronger at a certain gym-based exercise. You may lift weights to address deficiencies in your general strength, as discussed below. But once you have accomplished that, it will benefit your performance to transition to more sport-specific strength work. In mountain athletics, weightlifting should never be an end unto itself.
