It isn't up to Mueller to "clear" Trump. He needed to find enough evidence to indict. Since he didn't find enough evidence, he couldn't indict. Not much else he or anyone else can do other than harass Trump and those around him more than they have so far. This has been nothing more than a witch hunt based on a phony document and the wishes of the left. They still can't accept that Trump legitimately won the presidency.

In the US, people (including the President) have the assumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I have yet to see any evidence of proof of any crime or impeachable offence.

Mueller was under the purview of the Attorney General, which is like the President of the DOJ, which is an arm of the executive branch for some reason. Given that the DOJ has a standing rule against Presidential indictments, that was never gonna happen. It's a lot like the President playing grabass with himself, except Mueller told Congress in, extremely cool legal speak "uh he really should be impeached ya dinguses".

Mueller couldn't find proof that Trump was guilty.

He couldn't exonerate him, but then again, 99% of all investigations do not exonerate the accused.

His job is to find out if Trump is guilty of something.

His job is NOT to find out if Trump is innocent of something.

That's not how it works.

And yet, Leftists have gone full retard, forgot how law works, and have tried to argue that point.
