fadetree....no worries, my friend, it was just a wording device to make my point. Hope there are none on your end.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys. Its probably going to be a day or two before I can get rolling, so ill give it some thought in the meantime. My first main here was a warrior who is sitting at 25ish along with the gf's cleric. The plan was to back burner them till I could twink him with good weapons, but we got so into our next toons we never did, although I do think I managed to get him full crafted. If wars are in need its a definate possibility. I'm also going to attempt to rally the gf to play our last mains...25 or 30ish shaman and necro....maybe play the shammy without her if not.

This morning it occurred to me that I think my monk is fairly well twinked and is 8 or 10 ish. Been itching to play one for a while, so that may be my toon. Or a rogue. Going to sleep on it. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thanks again, guys. I'm stoked to meet everybody in-game!

Update....On a personal note, my medical mystery turned out to be something minor and I should be getting back to normal this weekend.

I had some time to get p99 set up on my folks' computer and had a chance to check out my accounts for the first time in a year. Pretty much narrowed down my class choices to my 7 Bard and 11 Cleric. I truly love both classes but I'm leaning towards playing the cleric. I also have a 33 shaman that I would love to play as my main, but if you had any idea what the gf and I went thru trying to find the right duo for us to play together, you wouldn't blame me for leaving him right where he is till she's ready to play again. LOL

Also had a chance to talk to some guildies this morning as I was shuffling gear around. Very nice folks, and I'm looking forward to getting to play with you guys!

Will have time in a bit to see if I can work out that direct x issue I was having. Hopefully won't be too painful and your new cleric will be back in action this afternoon or evening. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Hey guys Earf Here (Halfling Druid)

Just wanted to say thanks to Archie for the invite last night at orc lift in GFAY =)

As explained I just started on p99 and im so glad to have stumbled across it!

I have been pondering for days on what class to play as my friend is starting up also and will be playing an Enchanter.

I decided to stick with lil Earf as I feel a druid and chanter duo will be awesome and ports will make me very happy.

We will prlly be grouping tonight in gfay at the low lvls so please feel free to join us!

Hello to all and thank you for the warm welcoming last night! See you all in game!

Hey Week... What graphics issue are you having? I've worked my way through several to get the game running, maybe we can help if we know more aboutthe problem.

Much appreciated, choster. Running wineq2 as per the multi-core workaround thread in the tech section pretty much has me up and running....I would love to not have to look at a windowed window considering there is no boxing here, but I'll figure it out in time, I'm sure. Just glad to be back in action.

Now if I can freaking figure out what to play, I'll be set!

Starting from scratch with a warrior. Cigamm, almost level 7, is in EC right now.

Damnit! I'm all late with this.....would have been a splendid idea too. The reason why I stopped playing months and months ago was because of the fact that I could never find a group.

Might as well come along.

We've got enough people that are between 1-20 that you'd be fine.

Yeah come along! I think we've got a good thing going. P99 is really great but the population is a little thin in a world where you really cant go it alone. My idea is that rather than trying to race through the levels, I am going to be as helpful to others and involved as I can be - helping out where I can - going for friendships and community over individual needs, It's the reason I rolled a cleric as my main. From what I have seen, we have a guild full of like-minded people now. I have yet to hear anything about xp penalties or seen any class get excluded from a group. It's the place to be I think.
