VZTZ also was 10x more successful and 100x more fun than this server. I mean fucking the things been out for 3 or 4 months and its already dead. VZTZ made this server look like a joke.

I would take VZTZ over Red99 any day. VZTZ had some stupid people that liked to hack etc but the only reason that server ever came to an end is because we lost our committed lead GM.

VZTZ at its peak had the same number of (non-boxed) players as red99 has now at its low. 10 times more successful? I call bullshit. And it was more fun maybe for you, but plenty of the players here prefer red99 to any other pvp server that's come before. Sorry that you'll get banned for hacks if you roll here (we both know that's the real reason you won't play), but don't take your ire out on us, if you don't like the server then don't play on it. Some of us prefer to play on a server where mobs don't walk through walls and selo's doesn't work indoors.

I don't want to waste my time on a server that has dwindled faster than any other EMU server I have played on. I have scoured the EQEMU for about the past 7 years now. This server was very promising in the beginning, but realistically is so pussy and carebear it makes me sick. No global ooc? why? because its such a huge bustling population with a live like world of interaction? wrong. it's fucking dead and boring, you log in and there's absolutely no sense of a community.

PvP seems purposeless. I mean really, other than to defend or fight for a dragon whats the point? VZTZ was incredible PVP. I mean 12 hour long pvp fights over control of sebilis, and Trakanon was not even up. Mass pvp just for the fuck of it, for name sake and Yellow Text.

Just being realistic dude, VZTZ > Red99. It doesn't have to be that way though, if you guys would stop being bitch boys about shit and cling do your dicks over classic this and that, then the server would be way better.

Arguing with you kids over this is a waste of my time, I don't even play. I would if some things changed, but you guys seem to enjoy playing on a obsolete and vapid server that dies more and more everyday. Have fun I guess

He's clinging to a dead server like a bitch. Not even a good one, either.

Boxing, level to 50 in 2-3 days casual, bans had zero meaning as a result of the previous; so hacking was prevalent everywhere, worst pathing I've ever seen in a game possible, exploits never being fixed, buggy as fuck, custom garbage.

Cry more and gtfo if you can't handle a real pvp server. YT, Global OOC, and superspeed leveling is not pvp. It's you being terrible at the game you want to pretend to be good at.

I'd wish they were harder on cheaters here, but it's infinitely more hard here than it ever was on any shitbox vztz iteration. You get banned here and you lost a real investment of your time, not a casual pussiness to 50 like vztz.

Harrison your broken record trolling really is anathema to anyone who plays or wants to play here (or at least anyone who reads the forums). Rexx is right on this, but I'm not wading into some pointless VZTZ vs Red99 debate.

VZTZ was an excellent server that was around for years and paved the way for future red servers. Red99 is the only game in town now and has a lot of things that VZTZ never did (like solid anti-hack), so the potential is there. How about we focus on what's going to get the server in better shape?
