No global ooc, and no global channels.

*) Global ooc is not classic.
*) an opt out global channel would just mean your location can still be broadcasted but you wont know. puts you at a disadvantage.
*) Many players dont even read the forums, they just want to play and are not forum warriors. probably dont even know about this poll.
*) Most of the whiners who want it super bad will probably just make multiple fake accounts to vote yes. poll invalid.

The need it to have a chance of successfully finding a group folks have good points. The omfg no the spamtards will ruin everything in 4 mins folks have a point as well.

How about.. Global OOC but you can only type in it once a minute.

I like that idea best. Is it even possible?

I'm supportive of global ooc for auctions, groups, etc, however, I dread the idea of it being turned into someone's personal soapbox, or like 180 person guildchat all begging for attention.
