Im sorry Alphys. For the above negative discourse.
I feel no affects from vaxx.
In australia its really not an issue, (personal or political) we dont discuss it vehemently or calmly really. Just a you do you type of thing.
Having said that, Im sure some video digger could find some dumbfuck Aussie arguing like a dimwit adinfinitum. Blarg.
Id love to be able to go back and see if my friends son DID OR DIDNT DIE as a direct result of a rushed vaxx.
Alas, that cant be done. Best i can do is make (hopefully) informed decisions in the future.
Australia has been a petri-dish of interest for me. They seemed REALLY draconian with their policies. The famous protest ended up police with them being beaten and masked en-mass. The quarantine camps. That is just my polar opinion from what I can find instead of being there though,.

My eternal vision of Austrailia is from " The Rescuer's : Down Under " and I never want to change that worldview.

Three "covid deaths" among my own group of acquaintenances. One was one of the wife's uncles who was in his 80's and dying of advanced pancreatic cancer. Could no longer eat, went to hospice, died, somehow gets listed as covid death. Another was the nephew of a friend of the wife's who put his truck into an oak tree, dead on the spot, yup, "covid death." Last one, another friend of the family, did actually appear to die of covid. He was vaccinated. I wonder whether history will ever separate the truth from the fearmongering and hysteria.

I don't know what a "chud" is but I'd like to be enlightened so I can know what I'm being called if I was included in that one.

My uncle with dementia in a nursing home in Australia died of Covid. Pre vaccine

He was 82 and not healthy

Only one I’ve personally encountered but I’ve heard of numerous from my son, daughter, and wife who all work as clinicians

I like to wear a mask everywhere still, but then tell people it's for the upcoming flu season, not covid. It makes them bluescreen instantly.

Is there any rationale to this aside from conformity? All the testing that has been done since covid has revealed that masks do not do anything for the reduction of viral spread unless its a sealed system or organic level of p100 at a minimum.

Hospital masks are to stop hair/spittle from entering wounds

No of course there isn't, like so many things about covid it made a bit of sense very early when almost nothing was known, purely as a safety precaution, but it became a weird cult-like purity test to affirm some kind of political allegiance among the paranoid and neurotic.

I dont breath out (only) microsopic particals therefore masks that, well mask spittle and spit and slobber SLOW the spread. Nothing in life is 100% (except hereditary stupidity) so masks work, agree or not that's up to you. But one of us is wrong. You bet lives it's you being correct?

This is ridiculous. Yes, I'm sure it may under specific conditions *slow* the spread. But we never behave this way for a bad flu season, even though that has almost an identical profile to covid in terms of transmission (its airborne) and who is at risk of dying or being hospitalized from it (old people and the immunocompromised)

So if the flu is, say, 70% as dangerous as covid, shouldn't we at least wear masks 70% as much for that? If you want to argue that yes, everyone should basically wear masks everywhere forever, because it might stop one grandma from dying of the flu, at least you would be consistent in making that argument. But nobody does, covid still gets this unique boogeyman status, and when a bad flu comes along the most people do is say "oh dear, I'll watch out for that!". We don't go around shaming everyone for killing grandma by not wearing a mask to prevent flu, do we? Because it's not about actual public health. The guy who holds patents on the actual mrna tech used in these vaccines wouldn't be banned from all social media for being skeptical of the vaccines like some kind of pariah if this were actually about sound science or public health.
