I can dig up my posts but I was insistent that in 3 years it would be gone, just like Spanish Flu.

How many times I posted "iTs A SloWly MuTAtiNG ViRus!" I felt lilke a chump spamming that as it mutated a few times last couple years.

But here we are... 3 years later, looking good.

If next winter we dont have an outbreak of some new and more powerful version, then I was 100% right.

All we had to do was fucking wear masks for like 2-3 years and we would have ben fine but NOooOOOooOOooOOOO we had to start world war 3.
Swine flu supposedly mutated itself out of existence, but it wasn’t as virulent as covid. But I think there’s always a strong possibility the same can happen with covid eventually

I said it a million times, "there is no cure for spanish flu but you dont see people walking around with masks to avoid that do you? Same wil lhappen to covid"

It took 3 years for Spanish Flu to dissipate.. I imagine at the exact same rate we're watching covid dissipate.

I said over and over, it took 3 years, 3 years! That's all we have to do is mask up for 3 years then it's over!

But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooo we had to make it political and then russia invades ukraine.

Not having to wear a mask everywhere actually kinda feels weird, I actually have to care somewhat how my stupid face looks when I go out now

Masks were basically always a security blanket to make people feel safe while doing very little anyway. Not because masks do nothing, but because for covid specifically most of the research that's been conducted has shown that basically only N95's, worn correctly, on a clean-shaven face have any meaningful protective effect. And that describes maybe 2% of mask wearers during the pandemic.

Throwing those stupid crinkly blue surgical things over your face every day was essentially a huge waste of time but it's nobody's fault, people forget it takes years to conduct meaningful research into ANYTHING (cough cough, which is why we still don't know if the vaccines might have long term side effects)

Well, not grandma's old dish towels but yes masks might be more or less effective depending on the specific pathogen and how virulent it is, and it takes time to actually collect, analyze and verify that data. Which is why it was equally dumb for people to assume they knew one way or the other when they couldn't possibly know yet.

And is still why it's dumb to just blindly shoot these vaccines into your body. If you develop parkinsons in 40 years or pancreatic cancer in 10 years due to some unforeseen process from the vaccines, you might just wish you had taken your chances getting covid and recovering.

They're probably much bigger than 20 nanometers while aboard the rocketships they've invented to traverse the lower aether. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The issue wasn't as much whether it could pass through the tiny holes in a given material, but rather that those loose fitting diapers people were just slapping on their faces clearly had huge, gigantic air gaps all around the sides. There obviously *are* masks that work, or humans couldn't ever study anything in a lab or build microchips, but the irrational obsession with somebody having their face covered or not during the pandemic was just insane.

Those karens on elevators FLIPPING OUT because there's one single other person in the elevator not wearing a mask are a perfect example of how far the psychological termites spread.

sure, but if we werent spending all day arguing about dumb shit and were instead helping each other use masks properly, we'd ahve like 1/3rd or less deaths and we wouldnt have even needed a vaccine.

I agree that this is impossible because humans are apes, but I just want to be clear if I was in charge Id be using elons chip to make them all fall in line.
