An interesting observational note when reviewing the gospels recently.
Christ did not "like" performing miracles as the neo-christian belief system would have you believe. After every occurrence where Christ performs a miracle, he stoles himself away, and more often than not he expresses disappointment with his disciples, that the only way he can convince people of who he is, is BY performing miracles. | ||

We get offered all this great oneness and harmony, but everyone is miserable. worship the idol cross, pray to the white man from palistine :eyeroll: its like we're inside a fricken rapture movie and nobody is paying any attention to it, JUST LIKE the rapture movie says people who worship the beast wont pay attention to it! just sayin | |||

I will say that the culture of man this day and age is pages of religious conversation in a whats the next 4 years of the president going to be like.
really gets me excited that maybe the end is nigh and the nigh is religion! make america a republic again. So we can be that beast of earth from the west in the image of the beast of the sea! | ||

One can only bring another to the precipice, for salvation is a gift from God, not Man. It is up to each one to let go of that which burdens them, if they are to pass through the eye of the needle.
How marketable is losing one's ego at the cross, anyways?!?. Methinks this is why the church does so, in a disingenuous manner, while the accepting the carefully shorn coin of those who dawdle at the door. | ||
