Deaths happen, but that doesn't mean the second a group wipes you need to roll in and take their camp. Be a nice human being and give them a reasonable period of time to get back and get their shit together before you just steal their camp.

Care to expand on this statement?

This player DIED while attempting the camp. This is not “holding a camp”.
This player then logged on Wiz in attempt to steal the camp from me twice and died an additional two times.

You propose that I should “act decent” and allow a dead bad player a 30 minute CR to occur prior to moving into the camp?”

You're right. Per the rules, they can't. But usually when people die they are given a reasonable period of time to return, as a nice and classy thing to do for the player(s) that died. I usually give it ~15 or so, sometimes a bit more depending on circumstance.

This is also the practice of the majority of the players on the server as far as I've seen. Except for those who want to be jerks "just because I can"

Not taking any sides but if either of you (or anyone else) still has corpses in lguk I'm bound in Oasis so I can swing by. Fortunately clerics can get around the dead side of guk pretty easily.
