Now I've heard that on red, this wouldn't be a problem. Could somebody please confirm or deny?
contested mob disputes like this dontt often happen on a server with fewer active players than zones in the game world

competition = intentionally screwing over other players for your own gain

hehe
This is the culture that the project management has fostered here for years, so people need to get on board and get over it. Whether it's Lodi or some other contested target, you've got to be on your game. Sounds like the BG guys knew their opponent's strategy, and they did what they could to increase their chances of getting a shot at the mob they wanted within the exhaustive rules of the game. This is competition. AG took the bait, in the process breaking rules, and they paid the price - even with AG claiming to be 'camping' Grizlin, BG somehow tagged it first? Learn and play better next time. We don't all have to be friends here.

I'm not associated with either party.

There's nothing to argue. It's clearly the way it has been, the way it is, and the way it will be in the foreseeable future based on comments and rulings by the project staff. People looking for feel goodz constantly beating a dead horse that there is some P99 moral code (outside of the very general play nice policy) that has to be adhered to refuse to open their eyes, and don't seem to understand what's happening when things don't go their way and their ego/feelings get hurt.

Separately, if your idea of cancer is a strategic move to best your competition within the rules, then you may have been awarded one too many participation trophies. You can either choose to play by the rules and get ahead, or limit yourself and stand on whatever moral ground you see fit and end up where you end up from that. That decision is a personal one for each player, but the rules are for everyone.

arguing that the current rules exist doesn't make them good rules.

Not embracing the reality in which you operate makes you delusional. 'Good' is completely subjective. To me, the rules here are 'good'. Most of them are pretty clear and the staff is here for the grey area. Try to change them if you don't like them, but until the time that they get changed, you have to operate within them. Constantly trying to hold others to and judge them according to your ideological standards is silly when the law of the land takes precedent. It's an exercise in futility.

It's pretty silly. Considering you can just go take the turtle over to gnomes and charm one of the gnomes like Captain Nalot.

For the last time, Dreenk, I AM NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE for how long it took us to get up close and personal with the turtle. That is fully at my discretion. If you want to /petition a stall, be my fucking guest. I've seen dudes run around with it for half an hour - unless they concede and you have a log of it, you'd be putting yourself on the ban-anvil if you took over the fight without FTE.

Ya, your not accountable to me, but you are accountable to the GM's, who showed up and made a very fair ruling in my opinion. Yet you are clearly butt hurt about it so you came crying to the forums in the hopes of finding people to put lotion on your butthurt. And of course you would be risking a ban if you tried to take an engaged mob (something you literally did in this exact instance we are talking about by the way, which Sirken told you, straight up, you were not allowed to do) you called out BG for "standing around with there dicks in there hands" for not trying to take the FTE off of you. I'm sorry they are smarter than you and that you fell for there bait and they didn't fall for yours. And I'm not trying not o distance myself at all. Just pointing out something else you got wrong, you said I was there, I'm telling you I wasn't, simple statement of fact.

You still, clearly, suck at arguing. Also, just by the way, you can't un-admit something..... that made for real laugh out loud, something a five year old would say when caught in a lie

I feel like the AG duo represents the Trump voting intellectually malnourished provincial wypipo from flyover America , and the BG duo just moved in across the street and put a Black Lives Matter sign in their yard. The tears are real.
