Not sure if serious. Just in case you were, that name doesn't even belong in this discussion alongside greats like Uli Jon Roth, Shawn Lane, Al DiMeola, Steve Vai, Andres Segovia, etc. Maybe you like his attitude or his songwriting, but his actual playing was nothing special at all.

I look at Muhammed as a less memorable Jason Becker who does annoying growls on top of things. Jeff Loomis is where it's at for modern metal shredders. He's pretty much the second coming of Becker, same vibrato and everything.

ya Loomis is a badass, but you have to remember that if your a fan of the genre then they're not "annoying growls" and the ability to do vocals while playing the way he does is actually quite impressive.
