Wipe to classic, clear bans. That's all you really gotta do to bring the server back to classic pvp. If they wanted to get really fancy, they could try teams or level locks or fucking whatever, but they're honestly not necessary. We just need a reason to progress and pvp, again.

Someone get in touch with Rogaine and find out just how much it would take financially to motivate him to open a new server for us.

We could do it Kickstarter style.

If we reach the goal, we get a new server that's a copy of R99 starting from scratch.

Or fuck, there's gotta be some millionaire neckbeard out there that could bribe him to give up the source code.

Actually thats a good idea. The only thing red99 needs is population. Alot of people either forgot about EQ entirely (who would play on red), or just don't know p99 exists. If there was a kickstarter and some exposure with a fresh server i'm sure alot would join. Especially people who missed out on PVP during live.

Not enough gms to deal with how many cry babies red and blue have. Petitioning over stupid little stuff all day long, blue fte and camp skirmishes alone would drive any gm nuts. Now the shit ppl pull on red...It's no wonder they won't do more then restores and basic gm stuff

Devnoob servers have a NPC that will summon rotted corpses for you. Why can't the GMs figure something that simple out here and implement it so they don't have to do it manually? How many hours are spent on meaningless crap that could be automated?

Take out PnP and set up rules that don't need as much policing. Even things like ninja looting shouldn't be policed for guilds. If your entire guild is out played that is their fault. Have an officer in the main DPS group and take care of shit on your own. This community relies too much on GMs to solve things for them and it ends up having a negative effect.

GMs should handle only a few things like group ninja looting, boxing, showeq, and training and I wouldn't mind training even being legal on the next box just to reduce /petitions.
