tempest has the benefit of most of their core having velious quested gear, most of which trumps the shit out of kunark era gear, all the spells they need, and on top of that a multitude of decked out ex-empire members including clerics, one of the best geared warriors on the server, and primal melees who can provide knowledge of zones/encounters/pulls that we started from zero with
