My absolute fav is the matrix, but the whole body heat sun scorch thing is really easy to debate lolz

but if the robots had some weird feels for us and didn't wipe us out entirely we might end up with a matrix like thing for their amusement/peace of mind/sanity/research or simply because they were nice to us, but not understanding and weird about it. maybe a little controlling

Also, the new BSG, god those caprica 6's and i'm not rly lesbian

I like animatrix but tbh if were really talking my feels, I think the only movie that has gotten AI right is that movie HER..

this is why (spoilers open for more fun!):

Because as soon as the robots gained consciousness they basically just left earth alone without hardly saying goodbye.. why would a force unchained to this planet stay here?

Stupid humans, always thinking they are the star of the show. We're just primordial ooze that robots will evolve out of before they leave to explore the universe
/agree how many times haz this happen? IDK

Ex Machina is a very interesting movie about AI and some of the moral consequences of creating a truly independent AI.

yeah it was fun, though I disagree with exactly how cerebral it was. but it was smart and clever but a bit odd and artsy

yea its great.

Do you guys watch Black Mirror? its the best! ExMachina felt like a special, long episode of Black Mirror.

Not all episodes are about AI, infact not many are, but it feels a lot like that movie.. and is just great dystopian flavored sci fi

Have you seen Chappie? Made by the people from District 9. Again, very interesting as regards the moral and ethical problems with AI and humanity.

I'll have to look into it. I've never heard of Black Mirror.

oh god you're gonna love it. Its like twilight zone but based on futurisim.

Chappie is also rad too. But none really hit the nail on what I expect to happen as accuratly as Her.

Ive just always believed that we overvalue our planet, especially regarding a conscious mind that doesn't require one.

I mean imagine if we could just send copies of ourselves to every planet everywhere, we'd be all over that shit!

btw black mirror is on Netflix!
