Yeah, it's pretty simple. It only passes through one it. And, it only passes through the other slit. It also passes through both slits, as well as neither. It does this all at once. Or were you looking for an answer that makes sense? ^^

No, it only gets weirder. A research group claimed that observation was not entirely the key, but recording the result is where the outcome changed. So it could be observed with a camera, and you get the expected result. But as soon as you started recording those results, the outcome changed to the wave pattern result.

The method of observation interfered with the electrons. Last I checked you need to blast electrons with energy (Photons I think) to observe them in any way.

Wow, that is fascinating. Really, how in the hell is our act of recording results having a impact on the observable light patterns? That is out of this world crazy shit.

I wonder how much of a impact we as a species have on reality as we know it.
